UPDATE
2002-12-30
Elena Moroz has an accomplice. Her name is Galina Daniluk. I know this
because I was just scammed by her.
I have an email that Galina Daniluk sent me while Elena Moroz was allegedly
in the hospital with a concussion. Elena said that she had a car accident
and she had to pay damages to the car amounting $4,986 within 15 days,
otherwise she would not be allowed to leave the country for 5 years. This
was 3 days before she was supposed to arrive. I had
thought about helping her, but that is as far as it went. The following is
the email Galina Daniluk sent to me while Elena was supposedly in the
hospital.
'Hello dear Mr. Don !!!!
This is Galina Daniluk, Elena's immigration advisor, I hope you remember me.
I've just come from hospital where Elena is. I've read a letter to her, and
after this I saw a really hope in her eyes, thought she feels not very well,
but I want to assure you the doctor say that in some days she'll be better.
Now, it's necessary to calm down and to think about everything very
thoroughly.
Elena wrote you a letter, and I send it to you, during Elena is at hospital
I'll help both of us to communicate as I usually do. Mr. Don don't worry
about Elena's trip I'll care about everything: I'll change the date of
departure and will care about the Visa.
Miss Galina Daniluk.'
Originally met on date.com. I posted her information on on other antiscam site a few months ago and have received mail from 5 or 6 guys that have been writing letters of love for each other for almost as long as she was writing to me. ( several of which were identical for each of us). She speaks good English and waits for months before asking for money. Fortunately it seems that she has received little or no money from the guys who wrote to me.
Here is an excerpt from one of her letters setting up the cash:
My dear Rob,
I came to the Internet caf?¦ to send you a letter and got another letter from you. I decided to write you another letter at once. I'd like to stay for 90 days and hopefully for the rest of my life, dear, because I really love you. Please, don't laugh at me, OK? My dear Rob, you know, I have no such money to pay for my trip. I know that you'll give me it back, when I come, but I have none to borrow the money here. So, you know, I thought, you would help me to pay for my trip, because, for me the prices are astronomical. Really!!!
I send you the information that my lawyer prepared for me in this letter, OK?
These are documents that I have to prepare for trip to you:
VISITORS
Under A 2(1) a visitor is a person who seeks to come into US for a temporary purpose and who is not:
US citizen
permanent resident of US
holder of a Minister's Permit, or
An immigrant authorized to come into US under 14 (2)(b), A 23(1)(b) or A32 (3)(b).
Under A 9 (1) every visitor must apply for and obtain a visa before that person appears at POE.
Every visitor who is required to obtain a visa, student authorization or employment authorization before appearing at a POE must be in possession of a valid visa, student authorization or employment authorization when appearing at a POE.
Students and temporary workers from countries that require a visitor visa must be in possession of both: a valid visa and a valid authorization at the time of initial entry, and a valid visa in the case of subsequent entries within the validity of the authorization, except for persons in possession of a valid and subsisting student or employment authorization seeking to return as visitors to US from the US or St. Pierre and Miquelon.
Collective certificates - IMM 1393 may be issued by a visa officer in two instances:
1.To groups visiting in the US who wish to make a brief tour of US and whose members require visitor visas, and
2.Groups flying in transit to destinations other than US, when the aircraft is scheduled to refuel in US and the passengers require visitor visas.
Visitors who meet the following two conditions are required to undergo a medical examination:
If they are seeking entry for a total period of more than six consecutive months, including an actual or proposed period of absence from US of less than 14 days, and
If they have resided or sojourned, at any time during the one-year period immediately preceding the date of seeking entry, for six consecutive months in an area that in the opinion of the Minister of National Health and Welfare has a higher incidence of serious communicable disease than US.
Under R 14 (3) possession of a valid passport, or identity card, or a travel document, is a mandatory requirement for every visitor.
Under A 70 (2)(b) a visitor who seeks entry into US and who was in possession of a valid visa when reported as inadmissible under A20 (1) has the right to appeal a removal order made against him/her.
Routinely entry is granted for a period of 6 month even in a case where the person requests entry for a very brief period ?C A26 (2) and R24.1.
The policy of 6-month entry does not apply to a dependent of the holder of a valid student or employment authorization. Entry is granted for a period of time equal to the time granted to the holder of the student or employment authorization.
Visitor must be documented (visitor record) if:
the visitor intends to remain in US longer than six months;
in the opinion of an immigration officer a visitor should be documented for control purposes regardless of the length of stay;
a personal servant can come with a foreign employer while the employer visits US.
Three basic terms and conditions may be imposed (R 23):
the length of time the person can remain in US;
a prohibition against studying;
a prohibition against working.
If immigration officer has doubts that a visitor will comply with terms or conditions, cash deposit or performance bond can be requested. The act {A 18 (1)} clearly intends bonds to be used as a control measure. It cannot be used to cure an obvious inadmissibility.
Only senior immigration officers are authorized to take cash deposits and bonds.
R19 (3) provides for discretionary visa for 30 days by an immigration officer. No extension
1. Tourist visa for 6 months. The law of the republic of Belarus let unmarried lady younger 45 leave the country only with tourist visa.
When must I commit my investment?
You can make your USD $400,000 payment any time after you have submitted your immigration application. The investment must be made before an immigrant visa can be issued. If you have not done so and your visa is ready, you will be notified by a visa officer that your immigration application has met all requirements other than the investment. You will then have 30 days to make the payment.
2. Medical insurance is 85$ USA.
3. All the documents and certificates (connected with the immigration), which
required after coming to the USA. The needed documents cost 200$ USA.
4. Passport -100$ USA.
5. I have to back tickets to the both ends. (It's the most important point in getting visa with the departure and arrival dates).
Please do me a favour check the cost for the flight on Internet? I'd like to be well informed. Please, let me know the nearest to you airport. And if I can stay in your place or should I book a hotel, I hope I'll stay with you, and for how long. The time for preparation of documents 35-40 days, after all is paid. And what I worry about this, if you help me to pay for my trip. I don't want to use travel agencies. I know a lawyer , who can help me, and assist in everything. Please write me your opinions about this.
You know my love, I'd love, I'd like to talk not only about our feelings, but about our plans over the phone, because I won't be able to talk for a long, it's very expensive here, so, please, be ready to discuss the most important points of our meeting. And I want to warm you that it'll be very expensive for me to come to you and I don't want it to be a surprise for you?
I'll be able to get a visa for 90-180 days. I'll take a leave at my work (unpaid leave). While I'll be there, I'll try to find a job in your country, so I won't be a burden on your neck, but I hope I'll be living in your house, I want to be as much close to you as possible. I want to feel you touch you, share everything with you, You know it's a very big, important step for me, to leave everything here and come to you so please, be gentle to me. But I've made my mind, I've been thinking a lot about you and me and our future, and now I know for sure, that you are my future, and we just have to try our chance to be happy forever
Yours Elena.
