My story is that I wrote to this girl for over a year. She sent over twenty different pictures of herself to me giving me confidence she was for real. So, I made arrangements to meet with her in Ekateringburg. She told me if I went to Omsk, her home city, we would be watched due to the sensitive industrial nature of the city. I sent her money only for her train fair and taxi's two weeks before my departure. I flew to Ekateringburg but she failed to show up. The worst thing about it is to let someone make an 18 hour journey and spend $1500.00 in order to meet knowing you have no intentions to actually meet them. Even up to the very last few days she carried on the deception that we were going to meet. All of her letters are not riddled with I love you's or money requests. This is a calculating and patient scammer and at no time did I feel I was going to be deceived. She has not written since my return and has not responded to my emails. So, I can only assume that she/he has moved on to her/his next victim. |
