Many years ago my dad and me came to Carpathians for holidays. Carpathians is a best resort zone for skiing in Ukraine. I have grown fond of this sports. And then we went to Carpathians each year. But now my dad is very feel bad and we can not to come this year to Carpathians. My dad is very ill. He had strong heart attack month ago. We was very frightened then. You have asked my about my travels. You know, I love to travel very much, but I never been outside the Ukraine. I traveled to many cities of ex-USSR. I has been in Kiev, Moscow, Lvow, Kharkov, Nigniy Novgorod and others. And where are you been? I never thought about doing my residency in the USA. I am afraid that I can't be a doctor in USA now, because I have a poor knowledge of English. At frst, I need to learn English excellently. I want to thank you for your last letter. I feel much better now. Some last days, practically all weekend, I spent in a bed. I got a very strong flu at the last thursday. Please forgive me, but I could not answer to your letter earlier. I hope you will forgive me. I was very glad to check my mailbox and to find your letter here this morning. But I could not write because I had a lessons in University. But now I am absolutely free and I can write you a big letter. I am really feel much better today, but I have a weak cold and cough yet. How are you? How do you spent your weekend? What do you do in your weekends usually? The weather here was very windy and cold here all weekend, but today is more warm and not so windy. On a thermometer approximately is about +4 - +5 at day. You know, Gary, if you would be here when I had a high temperature and was in a bed, with a great pleasure I would eat your soup. I was so hungry becaue I could not to get up from a bed to cook something. Are you cooking tasty? What do you like to cooking for yourself? The Carpathians is situated in some hundreds miles from my city. More western than Odessa. It's very beautifull. Now I can't to go skiing in winter often because I have a study. And practically I have not a free time even in the winter. Thanks for your sympathy about my daddy. He worked on the high-altitude crane. He is a builder. I love him very much!
